MEA UniServ Directors

 

UniServ Directors provide general administrative, representative, and consultative services to the assigned Coordinating Council, and the local association, in accordance with MEA policy and program. These will include, but not be limited to:  Contract negotiation and implementation; leadership training; budget and program preparation and implementation as well as public relations and membership promotion.

Membership Secretary

 

The Membership Secretary is responsible to the UTF President and maintains various clerical, fiscal, and other records according to prescribed procedures.  She/he is also responsible for processing additions, terminations, and changes for membership.  Every two weeks cash receipts are posted for employers and pay remittances  are directed and balanced monthly.  The secretary must also process cash receipt re-posting, change balance dues, and resolve recurring collection problems to assure balances.
