The MDE has implemented the new online teacher
certification system known as the Michigan Online Educator Certification
System (MOECS). The system allows for interaction 24/7 with the ability to
pay for certificates online by using a credit card (only VISA and MasterCard
are acceptable). Please advise members to go to the link found on the MEA
web page under Certification for instructions on how to use the system.
Members must first create an account in the Michigan Education Information
System (MEIS) before accessing the MOECS
system to apply for a certificate.
