Woodie Evelyn Smith (Mother)

1909-1992

MONROE, Mich. --- Woodie Evelyn MONEY, 82, formerly of Tipprell,
Tenn., passed away Monday, March 16, 1992, in Monroe.
She was born July 6, 1909, a daughter of the late Green Berry
(1827-1911) and Marlenia Jane (ROBERTSON) SMITH. She was a member
of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church and its choir. She had been active with the
Monroe Senior Citizens, where she was a member of the Sunshine Friendly
Visitors and Nursing Home Choral Group.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed
MONEY, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Edward MONEY and Joseph
Wayne MONEY, both of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jack Alan MONEY of West Branch.
Mich.; three daugters, Mrs Vi FRANKS, Columbus, Ohio, USA, Mrs Ray (Sue) NUNN,
Monroe, and Mrs Charles (Marlenia J.) McFALL, Knoxville; 10 grandchildren and
two great grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at COFFEY Funeral Home, Harrogate
Chapel, with the Rev. Milton BOLTON presiding. Burial will be in
Harrogate Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Coffey Funeral Home,
Harrogate, Tenn., which is in charge of arrangements.
